Devlog Update: Single Player Mode, UI Overhaul, and Lore Expansion

Hello everyone,

We’ve made significant progress as we prepare for the upcoming single-player mode and a Steam demo for our sex simulator. The game is shaping up and beginning to feel more complete, thanks to a fresh UI update that brings a more polished look and functionality.

Creating Lore so deep you can't escape it.
Our game has always prioritized developing the fantasy physics simulation, and now we're expanding on the rich lore of our world with that same attention to detail. Players will dive into the feudal conflicts of the warring families in Midsky, residing in floating castles, and discover the exiled souls living on The Deck—a massive wooden structure that supports the floating islands above the hostile forest floor. Below, dense thickets of carnivorous mega-fauna cover the planet’s surface and stretch across the oceans, turning them into vast, hellish forests and marshes.

Mid-Sky
In Mid-Sky you'll spend most of your time helping families resolve their feudalistic disputes, using conversational abilities to either build or disrupt their relationships. Your choices may either unite Mid-Sky or lead to its downfall. Rather than violence, sex plays a pivotal role in advancing the plot, so choose who you bed carefully—it could shape the future of the families and have lasting consequences!

New Splash Screens and Start Menu
We’re designing splash screens for the game’s start, featuring our company logo and an introduction that highlights the immense scale of the endless 'Green Hell' of the Foresting below.

Hub World Development
The hub world continues to evolve with more detailed environments and NPCs, giving it a lived-in feel. We are also testing out some new buildings that have a stronger fantasy town vibe.

Spell Effects and Conversation Battles
We’re introducing spell splash effects that will enhance how energy exchanges take place during the conversation dialogue battles, adding more visual flair and engagement. We’re also experimenting with new hypnotic and kaleidoscope effects to enhance the visual experience of imbibing potions.

Looking Ahead
Next up, we’re integrating the conversation battle mechanics into the hub world and refining them to add layers of strategy for navigating the fun and the depth of our lore.
