Devlog Update: Enhancements and Fixes Across Game Systems

Hello everyone,

In our latest development sprint, we've made substantial progress in refining various aspects of the game, from UI enhancements to gameplay mechanics. Here’s a rundown of the key updates and what’s coming next:

UI and Gameplay Enhancements:

  • Questing and Roaming UI: We've resolved scaling issues across different resolutions, ensuring that the questing and roam menus now scale properly on all displays, not just 4K.
  • Pouch: Players can now consistently loot items into their equipped models’ pouches, the pouch are permanent bag slots on your player model that you can use to move or transfer items.
  • Attachment Scaling: Previous scaling issues with attachments, pouches, and messages have been addressed for consistency across all game elements.
  • Quest Item Functionality: To clarify gameplay, hovering over an item related to an uncompleted quest now indicates that the quest must be completed before the item can be collected.
  • Stash Sorting and Navigation: We've darkened unused buttons to minimize confusion and implemented functionality for stash sorting and navigating between tabs.

Roam Menu Developments:

  • HP Stats: Health, Stamina, and Mana indicators are now visible to the player in roaming area. An expanded view is available in the inventory tab area. We've connected HP, Stamina, and Mana values to the game models, with these stats now regenerating passively over time. Actions in the roam menu requiring Stamina or Mana now check for sufficient resources before proceeding.
  • Dialogue Interactions: The dialogue system has been integrated into the stash/roam menus, allowing for quests and messages to trigger from dialogue encounters.
  • Animated Models on Stage: The import of our animated models into the roam area is complete. Our models are also now rendered in their own virtual spaces, each with a dedicated camera, which allows for greater flexibility and control during interactions. 

Fix for Outage on Saturday:

  • Automated Testing: Considering our recent access issue, we are planning to develop automated tests for key game functions to prevent future disruptions. This includes a script for simulating user actions from login to entering the sex simulation to ensure all processes are functioning correctly.

Any chance if you're going to make a non-patreon mobile version?

Yes, great question. That would be ideal for us as creators. We've seen the risks of relying on a single payment processor and how those  platforms bend over backwards to meet their demands without considering the creators' work. Also once the game is more complete and gains more popularity, we will consider offering it for a flat price instead of a subscription.
